Strengthening Workplace Safety Through POSH Awareness and Train the Trainer Program at Triage Meditech
A safe and respectful workplace is essential for fostering employee well-being, trust, and productivity. Therefore, with this objective, Triage Meditech successfully conducted a POSH Awareness Training Workshop and Train the Trainer (TTT) Program, empowering employees and leadership with the knowledge and skills required to create a safe and POSH-compliant workplace.
POSH Awareness Training for Employees
The POSH Awareness Training covered 40 employees across various departments, helping them understand the provisions of the POSH Act, 2013 and their role in maintaining a respectful workplace.
During the session, the interactive session focused on:
- Understanding workplace sexual harassment
- Employee rights and responsibilities
- Prevention and reporting mechanisms
- Complaint redressal process
- Practical workplace scenarios and discussions
Additionally, the session encouraged active participation, enabling employees to ask questions and gain clarity on creating a culture of dignity and respect.
Train the Trainer (TTT) Program
Furthermore, Triage Meditech conducted a Train the Trainer Program to develop internal POSH champions who can continue promoting awareness across the organization.
Additionally, the CEO, Mr. Siddharth Mandal, along with key organizational representatives, attended the program. The program trained participants on:
- The legal framework of the POSH Act
- Effective facilitation and presentation techniques
- Conducting engaging POSH awareness sessions
- Handling participant queries and sensitive discussions
- Using case studies and practical examples for impactful learning
By equipping leaders and internal trainers with these skills, the organization can sustain continuous POSH awareness and strengthen compliance more effectively.
A Step Towards a Safer Workplace
Overall, through the successful completion of both the POSH Awareness Training Workshop and the Train the Trainer Program, Triage Meditech has taken a significant step toward building a workplace culture based on respect, inclusion, and accountability.
Furthermore, creating internal POSH champions and educating employees across departments helps the organization extend awareness beyond a single training session and make it an integral part of its culture.
